With the Canon Pro-4100, images are printed in high resolution using certified archival pigment inks on a carefully curated selection of fine art papers — each with its own texture, finish, and tone.

To ensure the perfect result for every print, each paper type is custom calibrated to provide buttery smooth transitions and neutral black-and-white tones.

The Expression 12000XL Pro's optical density of 3.8 DMax and 48-bit colour depth ensure sharp and accurate scanning for full reproduction of the widest range of colours, even in shadow areas.

In addition, the high 2400 x 4800dpi resolution and ultra-precise Micro Step Drive technology, enable users to capture even the tiniest details with exceptional clarity.

Our scanner is A3 but we've successfully scanned original work larger than A0. This is done by scanning the artwork in sections and then stitching them together in Photoshop.

Files are supplied as 450dpi Tiffs in Adobe RGB.

Basic cleaning and colour correcting is included in the price of the scan.

For accurate colour matching in artwork reproduction, an addition fee may be added depending on the time and test prints needed.

We collaborate with artists and photographers to enhance their work while staying true to their creative vision. Our retouching services are designed to elevate your work, ensuring every detail is polished, it will usually include:

‍Colour Correction: Adjust colours and contrast to ensure images are vibrant and true to life or the artist's vision.
‍Cropping and Composition: Cropping and straightening images with composition and message in mind.
Detail Enhancement: Sharpening details to bring clarity and focus to images.
‍Dust and Scratches: We carefully remove dust spots, lens flares, and repair any scratches to restore the image to its original quality.
‍Element Manipulation:  Adding or removing elements from photographs.
Colour Matching: We match the colours of your original work as closely as possible in the print reproduction.

Basic retouching is free of charge. However, if significant work is required, we charge a rate of R450 per hour.

Because we want you to have the best possible result, we offer the first test print on the house.

Thereafter, test prints will cost R100-00 each.

Test prints includes a strip through the image at the requested print size and small overall preview of the full image.
